November 2000 ...
Hi there everybody !
Here's a new newsmail from us!!!
it's been quite a while since the last one. Nine months to be honest.
That's because we've been on tour since Jan/ Feb. It's been totally
awesome and we're all really happy with the shows and everything
around the tours.
Anyway, we're now back home in Sweden and we're gonna take some time
off to rehearse and write new songs.
The goal is to record a new album by early Summer 2001. Which means
that the album will hopefully be out 6 months after that.
We just got ourselves a Millencolin Office where we're working like
crazy to answer all the e-mails we've got from you. It's about 4000
e-mails + a big ol' pile of letters so it's gonna take a while but
we're doing our best to answer them.
We've also got some other stuff coming up pretty soon like a new
contest at our homepage and some new merchandise is also being
designed.
As you might already know, we got "No Cigar" as a soundtrack in the
new Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2!
Everybody who's played the first game have probably already bought
the new game since it's one of the best games ever! If you haven't,
go check it out right away!
New skaters in #2 are Steve Caballero, Eric Koston & Rodney Mullen.
You are now also able to do tail and blunt slides + the over all
feeling is more realistic and smooth.
News for the US market! Our singles compilation "The Melancholy
Collection" is finally going to be released in the States by Epitaph!
We don't know the release date yet, but we will post it at our
homepage as soon as we know.
Epitaph is also going to release a "No Cigar" lowprice mini-cd with
of course "No Cigar", but also including the two singles "Penguins &
Polarbears" and "Fox". All together 8 songs. We don't know the
release date for this one yet either. Erik is currently working on
the artwork for it, but it will probably hit the stores sometime
around February!
Erik will also start working on the sequel to "Millencolin & the Hi-8
Adventures" pretty soon, but that's a lot of work so don't expect a
release in a close future...
That's it for now!
Thanks for supporting us!
See ya,
